Debussy was one of the most important 20th-century composers for the piano, and Children's Corner is one of his best known works. The six pieces in this suite are from his mature period, composed between 1906 and 1908. Although the pieces have fanciful names such as Jimbo's Lullaby and Serenade for the Doll, and are among Debussy's easier works, these are not for beginners. This edition presents the music in its original form with no editorial fingerings
