I composed these 40 piano pieces during the 2020 Lent period: one piece every day. During this period, the long lockdown due to the corona virus also started. Everyone stayed at home, you didn’t hear any cars anymore, but you did hear the birds singing again. The silence became tangible, deep and penetrating. These silent piano pieces gave me support during this period. In one of the pieces I also commemorate a lovely uncle who died of Covid-19. The 40 pieces are issued in 4 bundles of 10 pieces each.
