John Carter and Mary Kay Beall have teamed up to create a setting of the hymn-tune ASH GROVE for SAB choir. The text from Psalm 100 is paired with lovely three-part writing that varies between syllabic chords and sustained countermelodies. The rippling piano part adds another layer of harmonic complexity.
