This freewheeling chart was written for the Penfield Commission Project in New York. The cool, understated first chorus sets the stage for a swinging ensemble section that melts into the 3/4 development section. The rhythm section and Trumpet soloist set up a half-time shuffle before the ensemble shout chorus.
