This timeless prayer of blessing is given a new treatment with subtle, attractive harmonies. There is some flexibility in presenting the piece, for example, a solo or small group could sing the soprano line, while the other parts are hummed underneath. In Palmer’s comments in the octavo, he offers guidance on executing the grace note figures sprinkled throughout.
