Written for the COMA (Contemporary Music for Amateurs) 2000 residential course, Dislocated Chorales lasts about ten minutes and may involve any number of instrumental players in a flexible orchestration. The score includes aleatoric sections, and offers players of any age or level of experience a vivid introduction to the sounds of contemporary music.
