Composed by R. Carnicer/J. Soler. Published by Editorial de Musica Boileau (BO.B.3611).
On May 17th (1852) Ramon Carnicer composed the Capriccio for bass with piano accompaniment expressly to be performed at first sight reading by the applicants to obtain a teacher's place of this instrument at The Real Conservatorio de Musica y Declamacion Maria Cristina (nowadays Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid). He worked there as a teacher of composition since 1830 until his death.
This revised edition by Jordi Soler keeps the original indications of the bass voice in the script of the piano part.
This edition includes two versions: the orchestral key (D Major) and soloist key (E Major).
