Franco Margola’s Andante for guitar and harpsichord, whose genesis is of uncertain date, but probably later than that of the Improvviso (1980) for guitar and piano, has been around for decades only in his manuscript form. With this publication, an edition faithful to the original is proposed, with the only addition of the complete fingering of the guitar part to honour the presumable didactic character of the work.
