August Delhaye was born in Antwerp in 1927 ( 1991). He played in a variety of ensembles and mastered a wide range of styles and genres. Throughout his career, he shared this treasure of experience with young musicians. Thanks to him, hundreds if not thousands of young people have gained a unique entry into the wonderful world of music. During an active career, he served as a pianist and organist. He was also a teacher at the Merksem (Antwerp) music academy. In this capacity he composed dozens of beautiful works.
