The Ozark region has produced some of the most beautiful melodies in America. This Scottish tune that made its way to the Heartland via the Appalachian trail is no exception. This arrangement combines the folk song stylings of Percy Grainger with the composerâ??s own unique harmonic language to tell the mournful tale of the titular Barbara Allen.
