This selection, And the Glory of the Lord, from George Frideric Handel's world-famous oratorio, Messiah, would be an excellent addition to any music library. Originally written for a four-part chorus accompanied by a small orchestra, this selection has been arranged for 5 Violins, by Regis Bookshar, without losing any of the vitality of the original version. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement will entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come. It is perfect for Christmas concerts and church services, is suitable for high school, college and professional performers and is one of my all-time favorite arrangements. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (20 pages). Handel's original version is written in the key of Concert G but this version is written in the key of Concert F, to make it a little easier for some younger performers. However, this arrangement may still prove to be a challenge for some players. Other versions of this selection, in both the keys of Concert F and the original key of Concert G, are available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. If you are considering having an organist or other keyboard player perform with this selection, I would suggest that you purchase the version in Concert G rather than the one in Concert F. Other selections from Handel's Messiah are also available, as are numerous other arrangements in a variety of styles. I would encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar. Panama Paseo no.1 is a two-step calypso dance recorded in 1914 by Belasco's Band - the Trinidadian dance orchestra led by pianist Lionel Lanky Belasco.

Belasco was the foremost Trinidadian musician and composer of his era, and is lauded in Venezuela as the man who introduced jazz to the country. He emigrated to the US in 1915 and was one of the most prolific West Indian recording artists of the early 20th Century, accompanying the first Calypso singers in the late 1920s and 30s.

Originally performed on violins, cello, flute, clarinet, piano and a variety of strumming instruments (guitar, mandolin, cuatro and braga).

Arranged for violin and guitar (or other strumming instruments).

Presenting the weirdest piece of music ever for two violins, soprano, cello, and piano called Crying Oceans. It is as close to atonal as I get. This is the solo violin part of Crying Oceans, this experimental chamber music piece that is good for school concerts, preferably at the high school or college level. This piece (and the part in this set) has some particularly challenging techniques such as sliding and long tremelos. If you want a piece for technique, this would be it.

This is the solo violin II part to my piece Crying Oceans. This is a great experimental chamber piece for a soprano vocalist, two violins, cello and piano accompaniment. This is great for classical music performances and recitals. Interesting features include the wailing effect, a downward slide starting on different single strings. The piece also features mixed meters and different things that make this a piece for advanced intermediate to advanced players.
