Swan Lake was completed by Tchaikovsky in 1876. Despite a lukewarm reception, the choreography and music have become some of the most recognised and iconic of the Romantic period. The beautiful waltz in this arrangement is very popular amongst players and audiences alike.
The arrangement is suitable for beginner or intermediate ensembles. The guitars 1 & 2 parts offer more challenges than guitars 3 and 4 as the intention is that the arrangement should provide a challenge for players of differing levels of experience, as found in most classes. Players with a couple of years of experience should encounter no real difficulty.
