Composed by Earl Brent and Matt Dennis. Arranged by Kevin Riley. 20th Century,Standards. Score and parts. 38 pages. Published by Kevin Riley (A0.507783).

Angel Eyes is a jazz standard which has inspired many interpretations. Many singers have recorded versions of the song, including Nat King Cole (already in 1953), Frank Sinatra, June Christy with Stan Kenton, Chet Baker, Shirley Bassey, Neil Sedaka, Willie Nelson with Ray Charles, and Sting. Ella Fitzgerald, who recorded Angel Eyes at least four times, named it her favorite song.[2] Instrumental versions were recorded not as often as vocal takes, by the likes of Benny Carter, the Modern Jazz Quartet, Dave Brubeck, Kenny Burrell, Joe Albany, and more recently by McCoy Tyner, Gary Thomas and Joe Lovano. In the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion the song Rei I (composed by Shirō Sagisu) is heavily based off Angel Eyes, following an almost similar composition. This version is for Solo Trombone and orchestra. Although the trombone part is semi improvised the soloist is free to do as they please!

Composed by Pat Martino. Arranged by edited by Dr. LeRoy Henry. 20th Century,Blues,Classical,Historic,Jazz. Guitar Tab. 6 pages. Dr. LeRoy Henry #951120. Published by Dr. LeRoy Henry (A0.1366778).

Think Tank is an album by jazz guitarist Pat Martino. It was recorded in January 2003 at Sony Studios in New York City, and was released by Blue Note Records later that year. On the album, Martino is joined by saxophonist Joe Lovano, pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, bassist Christian McBride, and drummer Lewis Nash.
Think Tank received a 2003 Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, and Africa was nominated for Best Jazz Instrumental Solo.
Think Tank , as the name suggests, finds Martino at his most cerebral, which has its pros and cons. The title track, for example, is a blues of sorts built on an equation based on the letters of John Coltrane's name, which may sound like an exercise for a composition class, but manages to hold together pretty well organically. Coltrane, a Philadelphia mentor of Martino's, is a recurring reference on the album, both indirectly in Martino's intensely spiritual and intellectual approach to the music, and directly on the funk-based original Phineas Trane as well as on an extended romp through Coltrane's Africa.
