He was also one of the first to use a saxophone in a symphony orchestra, the instrument having been invented just a few years previously. This setting for clarinet quartet is of selections from the complete work and includes substantial cadenzas and solos for 1st clarinet along with a jolly tune you will find yourself whistling!
