Yuletide Medley includes three beloved carols - O Little Town of Bethlehem, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear and Silent Night.  The text of the first one was written by an Episcopal priest.  The second one may have been influenced by Felix Mendelssohn, a contemporary of the composers.  Silent Night is an Austrian folk-carol originally composed for soloists, choirs and guitar, but was first sung as a duet with guitar accompaniment.  It is one of the most recorded songs in the world.
