In each case, the piece provides a number of possibilities for use that are listed in the anthem. The anthem begins with an optional handbell processional that moves directly into the Kyrie setting where choir (or cantor) and congregation engage in a call and response dialogue between stanza and refrain. An optional C instrument and handbells provide additional color to this unique composition.
