Care has been taken to maintain as much of Bruckner's original work as possible. This is a full-sounding, very powerful quartet, yet very attainable by mid level performers (advanced junior high to early high school age group). Care has been taken to help playability with many logical rehearsal marks and numerous ossia passages (tuba part) to accommodate younger players. The top trumpet part does require a well developed embouchure to provide the needed endurance for this great piece.
