Published by Moni Bergo (A0.1012751).

Small Ensemble Cello,Flute,Soprano Recorder,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.900405 Composed by Gustavo Fuentes. Arranged by Gustavo Fuentes. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,New Age,World. Score and parts. 3 pages. Gustavo Fuentes #3637525. Published by Gustavo Fuentes (A0.900405). Diamond in the Rough. Celtic music song composed by Gustavo Fuentes, arranged for two voices. Two melody instruments, such as tin whistle, low whistle, flute, recorder, piano or violin, with chords for piano or guitar. The audio is from to the Gustavo Fuentes CD Almas en vuelo that you can listen to on Spotify. The most important symbol of Celtic art is the triskelion. It is made up of three curved legs representing the past, the present and the future. It can also symbolize the balance between mind, body and spirit; the beginning and the end; or constant learning versus eternal evolution.Life is a timeline. Memories from the past can sometimes evoke pleasant images and beautiful experiences in our minds, but they can also fill us with sadness and nostalgia. Thinking of the future can give us hope, but it can also awaken anxiety. The only time when we can truly be, make decisions, and effect change is the present. Today is a gift, a diamond in the rough that we can cut and polish to our liking. Quoting the wise words of Irish author Oscar Wilde in The Picture of Dorian Grey: Life is a moment. There is no hereafter. So make it burn always with the hardest flame.

Piano,Voice Duet Piano,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889855 Composed by Gary Friedman. Children,Jewish. 6 pages. Gary Friedman #6465. Published by Gary Friedman (A0.889855). Sophie Friedman, my granddaughter, wrote 4 short poems for school when she was 8 years old. I set these to music in the form of little children's songs. The 4 short (about 2 minutes each) are Halloween, Hanukkah (the only Jewish song), Cricket, and Winter-Summer Diamante. A diamante is a diamond-shaped poem starting with one word in the first line and ending with one word in the last line. The sound clip is of Halloween.sung by Paula Arciniega, mezzo-soprano, with John McCarthy at the piano. If you listen to Hanukkah, I think you will laugh. (Any proceeds that I get from selling these songs go to Sophie.).

Cello Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.787296 Composed by Greg Bartholomew. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Individual part. 4 pages. Burke & Bagley #4911. Published by Burke & Bagley (A0.787296). Composed in 2013 for Suzanne Mueller in commemoration of her tens years as Summer Artist-in-Residence at Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury, NY. The opening theme counts up the decade by interval, starting with intervals of one (unison), major second, major third, perfect fourth and perfect fifth. After exploring the ups and downs of these first five years, in measure eight the count starts over and this time continues with a major sixth, major seventh, octave, major ninth and major tenth. After exploring this additional territory, a melodic section celebrates the accomplishment of ten years, which is recognized by gifts of diamonds, and this piece is my diamond for Suzanne.
