Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955796 Composed by Music: Luigi Denza, Words: Peppino Turco/Edward Oxenford. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Folk. 15 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6036809. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955796). This popular Neapolitan song was composed in 1880 for the opening of the funicular railroad - that cabled cars up Mount Vesuvius. It instantly became a hit on the streets of Naples and soon spread around the world.  This arrangement uses both the original Italian text and the traditional English words, making it an excellent study in Italian pronunciation and good English diction - probably well suited for Italian Immersion school programs.  It is scored for 4-part SATB chorus and piano.

March,Multicultural,Opera,Standards,Traditional,World. Score and individual part. 20 pages. Christopher Alexander #974751. Published by Christopher Alexander (A0.1391220). Celebrating life (la dolce vita) is a common practice in the Italian lifestyle. Music, singing, and dancing are key companions in creating an upbeat atmosphere, which is dually illustrated in this famous tune by composer Luigi Denza. The light-hearted, bouncy nature of the accompaniment creates the support for the triumphant melody as it soars for all to hear. This arrangement gives the performers a challenge to perform the ending portion of the song (an encore of sorts) as fast as possible.Funiculì, Funiculà is included in the collection:Songs Without Words: Ten Popular Songs Arranged for Solo Instrument with Piano Accompaniment
