Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio Clarinet,Flute - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.582147 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by John Gibson. Classical. 16 pages. JB Linear #5953915. Published by JB Linear (A0.582147). Beethoven published his Serenade Op. 25 when he was about 30 years old, in 1801. Originally written for flute, violin, and viola, it is set now by John Gibson for 2 flutes and Bb clarinet. There is an alternate part for A clarinet which puts it in F rather than E. This is the 2nd movement (Minuet). The roadmap for this piece is not real clear in the manuscript, so here is my suggestion:Minuetto with repeats.....Trio 1 (letter B) with repeats......Minuetto with no repeats......Trio 2 (letter D) with repeats.....Minuetto with no repeats, end at Fine. (John Gibson)

Flute Duet Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.811771 Composed by Robert Valentine (1671 - 1747). Arranged by Edited by Pat Spence. Baroque,Concert,Graduation,Standards,Wedding. Score. 22 pages. Piper Publications #6096735. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811771). The set of 6 sonatas for two flutes were first published by John Walsh in London, a clear indication that Robert enjoyed a Europe wide reputation as a composer and performer. They are in the Baroque style written for two equal players of intermediate ability. The dynamic markings are few as the custom of contrasting dynamics on repeated sections was well known. The dynamics in parentheses ( ) are suggestions only as are the dashed phrasings. The original publication was of separate part books. The repeated sections were only indicated in part two which probably caused some initial confusion! The current edition is in playing score format. The sonatas are also suitable for pairs of oboes or violins.

Score and parts. 20 pages. Piper Publications #5946335. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811757). This is the fourth of a set of seven trio sonatas for two violins and harpsichord or cello first published in London in about 1757 which have been arranged for pairs of flutes or oboes with bassoon or cello. It also works well with flute, oboe & bassoon or cello. The four movements, Largo, Vivace, Largo & Presto are suitable for advanced intermediate players and give scope in the Largo movements for improvised decorations in all parts.
