The tune is presented twice throughout the piece - the first time in the key of E minor on a solo stop and the second time in the key of A minor in a chordal texture. The meditation ends quietly as it started. Phrases of the song are connected with interesting ostinato motives which unify the piece. This composition will be very effective in all kinds of occasions where support for Ukraine is needed.
