Clarinet Duet Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.972636 Composed by James Siddons. 20th Century,Contemporary,Patriotic. 2 scores. 3 pages. James Siddons Music and Writings #3024719. Published by James Siddons Music and Writings (A0.972636). The clarinet duo J.P Morgan Finances the Panic of 1907 was originally composed in December, 1967, when the composer was 19 years old, and was inspired by Walter Lord's description of the Panic of 1907 in his book The Good Years (1960). The duo was revised in June, 1969.***The two performers may stand next to each other and read from the same music stand, but the musical effects will be enhanced if the performers stand apart, to create a stereophonic effect. This is especially effective in passages where the texture changes from heterophony to unison and back (e.g., mm. 10-12). The distance they stand apart will vary with the width of the performance area (stage) and the size of the auditorium.

Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1257721 Composed by Jakob Hintze. Arranged by Todd Marchand. Christian,Easter,Sacred. 24 pages. Con Spirito Music #850950. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1257721). An ideal hymn selection for Easter Sunday, Eastertide, or at any celebration of the eucharist, At the Lamb's High Feast We Sing is one of many hymns translated from Latin by Robert Campbell (1814-1868), a Scottish advocate (lawyer) and Roman Catholic layperson. First published in 1850, At the Lamb's High Feast We Sing was one of four of Campbell's hymn texts to be included in Hymns Ancient & Modern (1861), the first standardized and popular hymnal of the Anglican Church. The tune accompanying the text, known as SALZBURG, is attributed to the German composer Jakob Hintze (1622-1702). Its harmonization has long been attributed to J.S. Bach and numbered among his works as BWV 262. However, the New Edition of the Complete Works of Bach, published by Barenreiter, no longer recognizes this, and the harmonization matches that of Johann Pachelbel's Alle Menschen müssen sterben — Choral mit 8 Partiten (Chorale with 8 Variations) of 1683.Regardless of the authorship of text or tune, At the Lamb's High Feast We Sing is a richly theological, grand hymn that references God's saving works in both the Old Testament and the New, culminating in Christ's victorious resurrection and his triumph over sin and death, and celebrates his feeding of the faithful gathered for the eucharistic feast with his Body and Blood. This arrangement for organ and brass quintet begins with alternating fanfares for organ and brass, followed by:Verse 1: organ accompanimentVerse 2: brass accompanimentVerse 3: organ accompaniment with solo trumpet punctuationsInterludeVerse 4: organ and brass accompaniment in alternate harmonizationCoda recapitulating the introductory fanfares Includes full score, parts for organ, Bb tpt. 1, Bb tpt. 2, F horn, tbn, tuba, and reproducible bulletin insert for voices ©Copyright 2023 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music (ASCAP). Nigel Williams #927430. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.1341920). Stille Nacht, The much-loved Christmas carol Silent Night is arranged for six lower brass instruments and organ. The deep tones of the lower brass provide an ambience and reonance which, combined with organ, is musically compelling. The brass writing allows most players access to the tune and the supporting harmonies are rich and sonorous. The organ score is notated on two staves with independent Pedal. The full score downloads with a set of individual parts attached, including a two-page organ score. Horn,Organ,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1256429 Composed by Louis Bourgeois. Arranged by Todd Marchand. Christian,Easter,Sacred. 24 pages. Con Spirito Music #849848. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1256429). Although first associated with Psalm 134 in the Genevan Psalter — a collection of metrical psalms created under the supervision of John Calvin for use by Reformed churches in the 16th century — the “Old Hundredth†tune received its name from its association with a metrical setting of Psalm 100 by William Kethe (d. 1594), published in the Anglo-Genevan Psalter (1591). Kethe’s first stanza, based on Psalm 100, verses 1-2, reads:All people that on earth do dwell,Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell;Come ye before Him and rejoice. Thus, the “Old Hundredth†is popularly titled, “All People That on Earth Do Dwell.†It is also well-known as the tune for the doxology, “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.†The tune is attributed to the French music theorist and composer Louis Bourgeois (c. 1510-1559), who contributed a number of tunes to the Genevan Psalter. An ideal selection for any celebratory occasion, this festival accompaniment to the “Old 100th†begins with a brass fanfare and statement of the tune, leading into:Verse 1: organ accompaniment (harmonization L. Bourgeois)Verse 2: brass accompaniment (harmonization John Dowland)Verse 3: organ accompaniment (harm. Bourgeois)Verse 4: organ accompaniment (harm. Bourgeois) with trumpet countermelodyInterlude/modulationVerse 5: organ accompaniment (alternate harmonization) with brass fanfares“Amen†endingIncludes full score, parts for Bb trumpets 1-2, F horn, trombone, tuba, and organ, plus reproducible 5.5x8.5 bulletin insert for voices.©Copyright 2023 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music. B-Flat Trumpet,Horn,Organ,Timpani,Trombone,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1279233 Composed by G.F. Handel / Lowell Mason. Arranged by Todd Marchand. Christian,Christmas,Holiday,Sacred. 17 pages. Con Spirito Music #870731. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1279233). One of the most popular English hymns, “Joy to the World†began not as a Christmas carol but as a lyrical paraphrase of Psalm 98 written in 1719 by the English Congregational minister, theologian, and hymn writer Isaac Watts (1674-1748).Watts published the poem in his collection, The Psalms of David, Imitated in the Language of The New Testament. The free paraphrase is Watts’ Christological interpretation of the psalm, celebrating Jesus’ role as King of both his church and the world. More than a century later, the second half of Watts' poem was adapted and set to music by the American music educator and hymn-tune composer Lowell Mason (1792-1872) in his Occasional Psalms and Hymn Tunes (1836). Mason based the music, in part, on excerpts from  George Frideric Handel's (1685-1759) oratorio Messiah, with the descending major scale accompanying the opening words, “Joy to the world! The Lord is come†echoing Handel’s chorus, “Lift up your heads.â€Â This accompaniment to unison voices proceeds as follows:•  Introduction: organ, brass, timpani •  Verse 1: organ •  Verse 2: brass, timpani•  Verse 3: organ with alternate harmonization•  Interlude: all•  Verse 4: organ, brass, timpani, with alternate harmonization•  Coda: allIncludes full score, parts for organ, Bb tpt. 1, Bb tpt. 2, F horn, tbn, tuba, timpani, and reproducible bulletin insert for voices.©Copyright 2023 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music (ASCAP). Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.740297 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Craig Garner. Baroque. Score and parts. 77 pages. Dorm 40 Music #6786873. Published by Dorm 40 Music (A0.740297). This arrangement is part of the Chicago Gargoyle Brass and Organ Ensemble Signature Series. Chaconne is the final movement of Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, for solo violin. While many agree that Chaconne is a masterpiece for violin, it can certainly be argued that it is also among the greatest pieces of music ever written. Since Bach's time, several transcriptions of the piece have been made for other instruments, including inspired versions by Ferruccio Busoni (piano) and William Thomas Best (organ). This new arrangement, for brass quintet and organ, draws inspiration from both the Busoni and Best transcriptions. This demanding arrangement showcases the full color and dynamic range of the organ and each brass instrument, from delicate solo passages to heart-pounding power as brass and organ join forces.    Perfect for any recital, concert or pops program. This arrangement is scored for brass quintet and organ. Trumpet parts are provided in both B-flat and C. Trumpet 1 requires a mute and goes up to high B-flat (concert) once. Performance time: 13:15. Published by Dorm 40 Music,  www.dorm40music.com.
