Written for a standard 2 octave bells set, using 14 to 16 bells, these songs are suitable for student beginners and those in their first year or two of playing. Words are included in the music, and chords are included for most arrangements, allowing for accompaniment by guitar, autoharp or any chord playing instrument. O Come O Come Emmanuel; A 12th century traditional Christmas hymn

This very popular and recognizable hymn has been re-scored for cello quartet with optional guitar and triangle. The solemnness and richness will echo and drone with an old 12th century twist. Great for holiday performance or recital. Optional guitar and triangle adds performance interest and texture. Can substitute harp or autoharp for the guitar. Skill level is intermediate to advanced. A sweet waltz with a 6/8 introduction has a lovely and music-box like melody. Easy to intermediate, great for ensembles. Key of G, only one accidental for lever change in harp 1. Harp 1 can be played as a solo, or with the second harp accompaniment. Both parts are included. Chord symbols are printed for optional guitar/autoharp accompaniment. This composition was inspired by the live butterfly exhibit at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Houston.

This lively combination of the traditional Liberian folk song Take Time in Life and the words of choral educator James Wells is a great reminder to take time out of our days to praise the Lord! Written for two-part chorus, but a smaller third part is included in cue-sized notes for developing choristers, or for baritone or tenor voices. For the rhythm parts, the minimum suggested instrumentation is acoustic guitar, but instructors are welcome to add in any plucked stringed instrument of their choosing (mandolin, ukulele, banjo, autoharp, dobro, electric bass, upright bass, banjolele, it's up to you!) to the mix if so intended.
