Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.736657 Composed by Eliot Daniel. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Score and parts. 11 pages. Chicory Music #6670707. Published by Chicory Music (A0.736657). On October 15, 1951, the very first episode of the I Love Lucy show aired on CBS and became the most watched TV show in the U.S. for four of its seven-year run. Fun trivia about the opening theme song is that during the first season the show opened with their sponsor Philip Morris’ animation of stick figure cartoons of Lucy and Desi climbing down a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes. It was scored with Ferde Grofé’s Jr. The Grand Canyon Suite theme (a composition from 1931).From the second season onwards, the I Love Lucy signature tune we all know so well became the main theme, and one of the most recognizable pieces of music on the planet. It was written by composer Eliot Daniel who cranked it out in an afternoon as a favor to his old Coast Guard buddy Jess Oppenheimer, the show’s producer. Since Daniel still had another year under his exclusive contract to Fox, he asked Oppenheimer to keep his name out of it. Consequently his name does not appear on first or the second season TV credits for what became one of the most popular TV themes. Later, Daniel did seek credit and received royalties from syndicated reruns for the rest of his life. The lyrics were written by Harold Adamson for an episode in the third season in which Lucy believes everyone has forgotten her birthday. So of course Ricky saves the day after a near disaster. This arrangement for Brass Quintet plus optional Acoustic Bass and Drum Set parts remains faithful to the original.Performance Time Approx. 1 minute 25 seconds

Choral Choir (Mixed) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.776016 Composed by David Warin Solomons. A Cappella,Christian,Christmas,Contemporary,Instructional,Sacred. Octavo. 6 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #2036509. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.776016). This setting for Christmas represents the cold of a Northern winter (the cruel wind blows) although of course the actual events took place in rather warmer climes. It also reflects much of the liturgical and popular symbolism of the Christmas season: robins, holly etc and it brings our thoughts towards the season of Easter with the blood of Good Friday. A robin brought some holly all covered with snow. The cruel wind blows. From each little berry fell drops of blood, Which covered the earth where the Virgin once stood. The cruel wind blows. Dark was the sky when Angels came to stay, They brought old lanterns to lead the way. The cruel wind blows. Candles brightly shine for all to see, They glow tonight through the ageing year. Tender are the lilies as soft as her gown And white are the ringlets that fall to the ground. Mary with her child upon this Winter night, She walked through the darkness with yellow candle light. North winds blow across the fields, But only one child continues to dream. The cruel wind blows The cruel wind blows. ©Tom Clarke Buying this file gives the right to print six copies of the music score.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1432737 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock,Wedding. 24 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #1013162. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.1432737). Hey Jude is truly a song that needs no introduction! Released by the Beatles as a single in 1968, the song was originally intended as a missive to John Lennon's son Julian (or Jules, which later evolved into Jude), to help him come to terms with his parents' divorce. With lyrics encouraging listeners to put a positive spin on unhappy situations and reminding them not to let bad experiences keep them from seeking out love and happiness, the song's joyful message and catchy ending refrain made it an instant hit; it immediately topped the charts in a number of countries, and has been included on many critics' lists of the greatest songs of all time! This Cellobat arrangement for your string quartet maintains the catchy melodies, beautiful harmonies, dynamic passion, and of course the beloved ending refrain of the original for a chart you and your audience will love. Originally written for a wedding ceremony, this will also be perfect for receptions, parties, cocktail hour, solo & ensemble contest, or any other occasion you want to get your audience singing along! Rated intermediate; this will be playable for students and easily sightreadable for professionals.Sarah “Cellobat” Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.834002 Composed by JOHAN B. KOK. Arranged by BRIAN W. COPPING. Romantic Period,Standards. 16 pages. EMK Music #27097. Published by EMK Music (A0.834002). The Dutch Composer, Johan B Kok (1889-1954), wrote over two- hundred compositions for different combinations of instruments, all of which included the Mandolin or the Mandolin Orchestra. ‘Joska’, originally written for two Mandolins, Mandola and Guitar, bears the subtitle and style of the ‘Zigeuner Romance’ or ‘Gypsy Romance’, and it may well have been inspired by Monti’s better known ‘Czardas’, which, significantly, was also originally written for Mandolin and Piano. Both pieces have contrasting slow and fast sections, which is typical of Central European ‘tavern music’, commonly associated with Hungary. ‘Czardas’, of course, means ‘tavern’ in Hungarian.
