This is arrangement is for a mixed wind sextet ensemble. The melodies change seamlessly between the parts. The main challenges are the key signatures and chromaticism in the overall piece. The original composition Trois Novellettes (FP47 and FP173) was scored for solo piano by Francis Poulenc. Each movement was composed individually in 1927, 1928, 1959. Lastly, Poulenc had a special dedication for each piece.
