This is an old Danish Christmas song. The original Danish lyrics for Mit hjerte altid vanker (Danish title) were written by bishop and hymn writer Hans Adolph Brorson. It first came out in print in 1731. These were later set to a melody composed by Carl Nielsen.

The simplicity thereof renders it beautiful for Flute, Violin, Cello and Double Bass.
It does not have to be played during Christmas only. Enjoy!

This famous Chinese folk tune flourished from 17th century southern China, even Italian composer Puccini had arranged it to his opera. My arrangement is suitable for light performance or as an encore piece, also very useful for teaching purpose or self-learning.

Hello everyone, this familiar tune comes from the opera of Rousseau, and was later changed to an American nursery rhyme.

For teachers who teach violin beginners, in order to enhance their understanding of the diverse techniques of violin and increase their interest in learning, we can use difficult Paganini works to demonstrate, but if we can use familiar nursery rhymes for children, The display of difficult skills like Paganini-Style will definitely arouse students' interest and desire to learn violin well. This is why I arranged this song.

For students who have studied violin for some years and have a solid foundation, the difficulty of this piece is also suitable for you. It can be used as an etude to overcome and master related skills. I believe you can play more vividly and brilliantly than me.

       At the beginning of the song, the theme is in A major just like in Suzuki Violin Book I, and then:
Variation 1: Use ricochet and left-hand chord techniques
Variation 2: Left hand pizzicato and left finger tremolo
Variation 3. in minor key to show polyphonic violin playing and harmonics.
Variation 4: Bariolage technique and rapid notes.
In the Final (Coda) section uses chords and a little ricochet. The ending arpeggio directly quotes the end of Paganini's 24th, enjoy playing!

阮若打開心內的門窗，這首經典�語歌曲由作曲家呂泉生，邀請文學家王昶雄作詞，於1958年創作，當時的��除了經歷�慘痛的二二八事件，�時也壟罩在國民黨的白色�怖高壓統治下，作曲家希望能在音樂當中表�除懷舊，讓曲風有濃厚的��本土民謠風，且在歌詞上能給人們帶來希望。雖然這首歌一度被國民黨政府�止，但�被許多�語歌手演唱�，著�的如江蕙�大�百��洪榮��鳳飛飛等等，此外，在蔡英文總統的就�典禮上，也被�用作為演出的歌曲。

我將本曲改編����與鋼�的版本，難度上相當於英國皇家檢定考級的五級。

If I open the Door of my Heart, this classic Taiwanese song was composed by composer Lü Chuan-sheng, with lyrics by Wang Chang-Hsiong. It was created in 1958, a time when Taiwan not only experienced the tragic 228 Incident but was also enveloped in the high-pressure rule of the Kuomintang's White Terror. The composer hoped to express nostalgia through music, infusing the melody with a strong Taiwanese folk style, and providing hope through the lyrics. Although this song was once banned by the Kuomintang government, it has still been sung by many Taiwanese singers, including famous ones like Chiang Hui, Hong Ronghong, and Feng Feifei. Furthermore, it was selected as one of the performance songs at President Tsai Ing-wen's inauguration ceremony.

I have arranged this piece for violin and piano, with a difficulty level equivalent to Grade 5 of the ABRSM.

He Sin Nian or He Xin Nian literally means New year's Greeting, composed by Ho Xiang Lee in Shang Hai in 1948 (ROC), originally the song was to celebrate the New Year soon after Christmas, so it quoted the Jingle Bells melody at the end of the music. But as time goes by, it gradually becomes the lunar new year's standard song. I arranged this song as a concert showpiece, with some embellishments and variations, difficulty level is similar to Grade 6 or Grade 7 of ABRSM.
