Nearer My God To Thee, known also as Titanic song (the very last piece played by the string quartet on the Titanic in the James Cameron movie), arranged for violin and cello. We played it on a funeral ceremony, it was a really touching moment... The arrangement has three sections (A,B,C) or verses, with three different accompaniments in the cello part, the violin always plays the same melody. You can choose which section You play (or skip). We started from B, then B again and finished with C. If You need a longer version I recommend to repeat only the B section as many times as You need, The A and C should be played once.

This is the product of my friend and me jamming on the song. I record the violin and viola part, while my friend does the guitar, bass and rhythm part. And the music score above is the strings cover.
It is in the same key (B Major) as the original song.
The violin and viola share quite evenly between the melody and the accompaniment part. Some melody lines are not taken by the strings, therefore it will be weird to perform only by violin and viola strictly according to the score, unless you skip those passages.
We decide to cut the repetitive chorus thing at the end and finish it sharply.
