It would suit a mixed ability ensemble where the tune player is comfortable to move up the neck.The second rotates the roles so that each player takes a different role in each verse and each player has the tune at one point. It would suit a more evenly matched ensemble as the tune deserves a consistent tone and volume across the three verses.The two versions share the same notes.There’s no fingering on the score (except in a few arpeggio sections where there is a chance to minimise finger movements). This is because a more skilled ensemble might enjoy taking the parts up the neck to achieve a rounder and more lyrical tone,I hope you enjoy playing this piece!
