Flute Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.720826 By Adam Levine & Tony Lucca. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Leo Silva. Film/TV,Pop. Individual part. 1 pages. MP Sheet Music #329213. Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.720826). Yesterday is a song composed by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon/McCartney), recorded in 1965 for the album Help!. According to Guinness World Records, Yesterday is the song with the most radio broadcasts worldwide, with more than six million broadcasts in the United States. Yesterday is also the most covered song in popular music history, with over 1,600 different interpretations. BMI claims the song was performed nearly seven million times in the 20th century. This was the first official Beatles composition recorded by just one member, Paul McCartney, accompanied by a string quartet. The composition is notably different from the other previous works of the musical group, which is why the other members did not accept that it was published as a single in the United Kingdom.

Piano,Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799234 Composed by Antonin Dvorak. Arranged by John Milne. Concert,Instructional,Jazz,Romantic Period. Score and part. 6 pages. Odd Shoe Music #4593439. Published by Odd Shoe Music (A0.799234). This great tune has become stale for me, having been a brass teacher for many years.I have been able to live with it for a bit longer by revisiting the harmony and adding jazz chords. The famous theme presented in an unusual setting! The trumpet part follows the theme straight with a reharmonisation before going into a jazz waltz. It promotes legato playing and is full of dynamics. It should help build stamina and breathing as well as gently extending range for the developing player (rises by step to F sharp).Duration - 2m 50s.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.821195 Composed by GordonThornett. Christian. Octavo. 6 pages. Gordon John Thornett #2026815. Published by Gordon John Thornett (A0.821195). This setting of the traditional Harvest hymn, We plough the fields and scatter, is written in popular style, a little syncopated. The choir parts are mainly in Unison, with short passages in harmony (SATB). There is also a simple Unison part for the audience/congregation to join in (All good gifts around us), and simple percussion parts could easily be added. The piece could be performed by children or adults, or both together, and though primarily intended for harvest, could fit into any service or concert of thanksgiving. In this version the accompaniment is for brass quintet (brass band instruments), comprising 2 cornets, tenor horn, trombone and Eb bass - but could easily be adapted for orchestral brass. [NB If listening to the recording, please note that it repeats more often than it should - but it will give you a good idea of how the piece goes!].

Brass Ensemble Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742366 Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Javier Martínez Maya. Baroque,Concert,Standards. Score and parts. 29 pages. Arte Nova Music Lab #2119829. Published by Arte Nova Music Lab (A0.742366). Messiah (HWV 56)[1] is an English-language oratorio composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, with a scriptural text compiled by Charles Jennens from the King James Bible, and from the version of the Psalms included with the Book of Common Prayer. It was first performed in Dublin on 13 April 1742 and received its London premiere nearly a year later. After an initially modest public reception, the oratorio gained in popularity, eventually becoming one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in Western music.[n 1] Handel's reputation in England, where he had lived since 1712, had been established through his compositions of Italian opera. He turned to English oratorio in the 1730s in response to changes in public taste; Messiah was his sixth work in this genre. Although its structure resembles that of opera, it is not in dramatic form; there are no impersonations of characters and no direct speech. Instead, Jennens's text is an extended reflection on Jesus Christ as Messiah. The text begins in Part I with prophecies by Isaiah and others, and moves to the annunciation to the shepherds, the only scene taken from the Gospels. In Part II, Handel concentrates on the Passion and ends with the Hallelujah chorus. In Part III he covers the resurrection of the dead and Christ's glorification in heaven.
