Commissioned for the Swiss Richard Wagner Society for a performance in the Richard Wagner Museum (Tribschen) 2022, this chamber arrangement of Richard Wagners Vorspiel (Prelude/Overture) to his opera 'Die Meistersingers von Nürnberg' retains the original sound and intention of the full orchestra but for an ensemble of 13 players. String parts are as close as possible to the original, and can be expanded without modification to string sections of more players.
