This is an arrangement of Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold for percussion trio. The marimba, vibraphone, and xylophone interweave in complex ways to create a unique sound-take on a well-known Avenged Sevenfold song. Fast, technically challenging passages are combined with lyrically and harmonically-beautiful sections that contrast each other in brilliant fashion. Performers will be challenged not only to exude high energy, but also exercise restraint to create a truly incredible, full, and varied sound. Different techniques are explored, and interpretations are largely left up to performers so no two renditions will be alike.
