She enrages the reigning artists model queen Kiki by replacing her Montmartre's newest sensation. Paintings of her become an overnight success, and Mistral signs a contract with art dealer Adrien Avigdor. His business is arranged by American heiress Kate Browning, who is in love with him. At an art gallery, Mistrel sells a portrait of Maggy that he promised to her, prompting Maggy to leave him.This haunting melody has been arranged for full brass band and features Tenor Horn/Baritone and Flugelhorn solos throughout the piece, it was originally sang by Nana Mouskouri.
