Smooth jazz meets French Impressionism.  Cliff Habian, a classical/jazz pianist (as well as author fo the popular book Jazz Piano Essentials) has always had a penchant for the Third Stream genre.  This unique composition by Cliff meets that criterion, which includes a beautiful and pensive opening melody and later evolves into some Weather Report like sections which eventually display cool and poignant improvisations where a subtle nod to Erik Satie is included.  The beginning of the recording contains a brief AI comment spoken the French language with Cliff's own voice.  This is a very beautiful musical composition.
