Pământul întreg se destramă El trece ÅŸi dincolo, mamă? Materia unde se duce Din locul c-o floare de cruce? Urmează mai greu după greu? Se moare ÅŸi-acolo mereu? Åži cine plânge aceste Noi morÅ£i fără boli, fără veste? Tu toate voiai să le ÅŸtii, Izvor pentru verbul a fi, Tu care născut-ai în chin, Această ninsoare Å£i-o-nchin, SfinÅ£ind cu prohod de nămeÅ£i, Prea multele tale peceÅ£i. LYRICS IN ENGLISH (a gross translation): Elegy by Marin Sorescu Mom, the first snow, It's starting to fall on you, You listen to the gust of wind, Hidden in one word. The whole earth is falling apart, but does it go Beyond, mother? Where does the matter go From the place of a flower-like cross? Does harder follow after just hard? Do people also die in their after-life world? And who cries about these new sudden deaths without any disease? You wanted to know everything, As you are the Source for the verb „to beâ€, You who gave birth in torment, I homage you with this snow, Sanctifying with a sacred chant of mud, The too-many of your seals. This piece is part of my 3rd officially released audio album called My Chamber Music - vol. 3 (The Botanical Garden) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXRO-BiYU9s&list=OLAK5uy_kBUtAVDyq6z2tw41BOOHfETLxoTpLS4ac) which is entirely composed by me and interpreted by Note Performer 3 (the only Artificial Intelligence-based playback engine for musical notation worldwide). Have a nice, inspired audition!

Composed by Zack Richards. 20th Century,Contemporary,Film/TV. Score and parts. 120 pages. Zack Richards #5210677. Published by Zack Richards (A0.894397).

Throughout my youth, I was highly influenced by Science Fiction, especially Star Trek: The Next Generation. It inspired me from a creative, musical, and human perspective and was a large factor in most of my current views of the world in which we all live. This work is largely inspired by that show as well as other Star Trek shows and movies. The title is inspired by the idea of space, called the final frontier throughout Star Trek. The first melody pulls many aspects from the The Original Series, including the opening interval of a minor 7th, the rhythmic use of triplets, and the chromatic intervals in the second half of the melody. It sits over quartal harmonies which help create the open spacey sound. The countermelody introduced by the Oboe in measure 13 is inspired intervalically and rhythmically by the 2009 Star Trek reboot movie theme. These 2 melodies are used in various ways from start to finish, sometimes rhythmically diminished, sometimes just as a motif passed from one instrument to another. Every section has a moment to shine like a distant star in this fun sci-fi inspired piece.

SKU: A0.1135733

Composed by JohnWillard Utuk. Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Instructional,Video Game. Score. 18 pages. JohnWillard Utuk #735794. Published by JohnWillard Utuk (A0.1135733).

The Etherea Suite, Volume 1 is for intermediate to advanced players who enjoy lyrical, exciting, and showy repertoire, while expressing their imagination through their playing. Players get to musically explore the mountains, the desert, volcanoes, time travel to ancient times, and fight in battle! Volume I of the suite represents three main characters from the sci-fi, fantasy book Trials of the Innermost (release date May 26, 2023). Each movement has a distinct feel and reflects each character's personality. This edition features performance notes written by the composer, including musical elements unique to each movement, fun facts, and personal influences JohnWillard had in mind when creating the work. A graphic of the musical cryptogram system used to make the melodies for each character is featured at the end of the notes.

The three movements imitate a sonata, with the overall order of the suite is slow, slow, fast. Some teaching elements in the first movement I. Vayriel: Protector of the Mountains, include: scalar passages (A natural minor scale), shifting hands position, rolled chords, repeated left hand patterns, ornaments, and pedaling.

II. Zinvar: Peacemaker of the Volcanic Rifts is more challenging, but has more room for musicality, expression, exploring different touches on the piano, and ethereal use of pedaling, like the sostenuto pedal (if you have one!) The movement opens with a mysterious, wave-like arpeggiated left hand pattern, similar to pieces of Chopin or Rachmaninoff. The B section is practice in using the sostenuto (middle) pedal while playing softly, imitating Gregorian Chant. Best of all the ending sounds harder than it actually is and you get to play as loud as possible!

III. Idrilia: Warrior of the Desert is fast paced, rhythmic, and inspired by video games. This piece is a nice supplement for students learning techniques found in toccatas, nocturnes, and pieces that require a big, full sound. The longest and most advanced movement, players can enjoy using all the things: pedaling, accents, quick changes in dynamic contrast, and a lyrical B section. Technique requires comfort with arpeggios, chord inversions, octaves, and sensitivity to voicing. Once mastered, this movement can be both fun to play as a stand-alone recital piece or an exciting treat to play for friends and family. You'll find yourself humming the simple melody as it transforms throughout the work, and the ending is a chance to play big chords by using the full range of the keyboard.

Handlung in drei Aufzügen. Composed by Richard Wagner. This edition: vocal/piano score. Initial release - Opera - theater. Wagner Urtext Piano/Vocal Scores. Downloadable, Piano reduction. Duration 270' 0. Schott Music - Digital #Q17773. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q17773).

German.

An important addition to the newly produced orchestral materials by Schott Music is the fi rst publication of vocal scores of Richard Wagner’s ten great operas in every important version. For the first time, we are able to offer theatres and interested opera-lovers vocal scores as urtext editions conceived following uniform editorial criteria: * The score corresponds to the performance materials from the Complete Edition. * For practical use in rehearsal and study, every vocal score includes rehearsal cues and bar numbers throughout. * The publisher has secured the services of renowned musicologists associated with the Richard Wagner Complete Edition who convey detailed information in critical forewords. * The forewords are given in three languages (German, English, French). * Uniform and attractive front cover designs with reproductions of paintings from the Wagner era underline the series design of the edition. TRISTAN UND ISOLDE Performance directions by the singer Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld are incorporated in the vocal score from the Complete Edition’s Tristan und Isolde volume. He entered these directions into his own copy of the Tristan part which he used at the 1865 Munich premiere. Richard Wagner was deeply impressed by his interpretation of the title role. For the first time in a vocal score of Tristan und Isolde all cuts are incorporated—with the corresponding transitional bars—which Wagner himself made, and approved, in two cases, were actually declared by him to be final. These cuts strikingly document Wagner’s struggle with the final form of the work. For the first time in a single edition all of Wagner’s own suggestions for ossias are found; ossias which evolved from performances under his own direction. Egon Voss writes about this in his foreword to the vocal score: “Such ‘pointers’, as you might say, were current practice in the 19th century which Wagner, as the example shows, did not evade. He was enough of a practical man of the theatre to know that a badly sung top note is worse than doing without it. Wagner even tolerated the transposition of lengthier passages because he was less concerned with the letter of the score than with theatrical effectiveness. [...] The present vocal score goes beyond the Complete Edition [...] in that the ossias mentioned above are indicated in the vocal part itself, in small notes. They concern principally the role of Tristan, but also those of Isolde, Brangäne and Kurwenal. They rest in part on the Tristan edition within the Complete Edition but for the greater part go back to a source which could not be consulted for the Complete Edition because it was not yet accessible. This relates to a vocal score from the estate of the composer Peter Cornelius who was engaged by Wagner as repetiteur at the Vienna rehearsals in 1861-63. That the ossia bars go back to Wagner can be taken as certain, since in some places they are notated in his own hand.†(Egon Voss, quoted from the foreword to the vocal score) The transpositions mentioned by Egon Voss—two by Hans von Bülow for the revival of the work which he conducted in Munich in 1869 and the third suggested by Wagner himself in 1861—are printed in the appendix to the vocal score. The ossias, transpositions, and cuts are available for practical use in the theatre and in rehearsal. The cuts are also incorporated into the orchestral materials for Tristan und Isolde. This is also the case with ossias which affect the orchestral parts.

2013 marks Wagner’s bicentenary, making the year largely focused on his music, particularly the dramatic works. An important addition to the newly produced orchestral materials by Schott Music. The score corresponds to the performance materials from the Complete Edition. Schott Music have secured the services of renowned musicologists associated with the Richard Wagner Complete Edition who convey detailed information in critical forewords. For the first time, this work is available to theatres and interested opera-lovers as urtext editions. For practical use in rehearsal and study, every vocal score includes rehearsal cues and bar numbers throughout. The forewords are given in three languages (German, English, and French). Other vocal scores available: Der fliegende Holländer (1841) Der fliegende Holländer (1842-80) Tannhäuser Lohengrin Das Rheingold Die Walküre Siegfried Götterdämmerung Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Parsifal.

Composed by Murray Gold. Arranged by Richard Charlton. Contemporary,Film/TV,Instructional,Pop. 16 pages. Richard Charlton #1006682. Published by Richard Charlton (A0.1425916).

A classic Sci-Fi tune and one of the first to use electronic sounds way back in the 60's!
Full score & all parts - Gu1, 2, 3, Bass. (Intermediate Level)

The piece may have one of the first guitars playing electric (at a suitable volume to balance with the rest of the section) so as to imitate the Theremin sound of the original BBC Radiophonic Workshop version. The ending has some weird tambour sounds and a teaspoon effect on the 1st string. (my attempt at an imitation the sound of the Tardis) See the notes following the last page of the fullscore.
