The Chocolate collection of songs was written by John Ashton Thomas, DaCapo’s composer-in-residence until his untimely death in 2021. John worked as a composer, arranger, orchestrator, conductor, pianist and teacher in the UK and USA.
Words are by Tracey Mathias. Tracey wrote the lyrics for most of John’s DaCapo projects as well as several songbooks. She writes novels for children and young adults, and is the author of the fantasy series Assalay for readers aged 10-14 and of Silence is also a Lie, a love story and political thriller for young adults.
