WILTSHIRE VARIATIONS is an original composition in the style of an English folk tune and features several variations including a short fugue.  Instrumentation has been written for: 3 Bb Trumpets, 1 Flugelhorn, 2 Horns in F, 2 Trombones, 1 Euphonium, 1 Tuba. Percussion, although optional, adds interest to the selection and includes Timpani, Snare Drum, Cymbals, and Piano.  Performance duration is about 5 minutes 45 seconds utilizing the suggested tempi.  Difficulty level is a 4.5 to 5 on a six point scale. The French Horns ascend briefly to A above the staff.

This arrangement has been written for a larger brass ensemble with ten distinctive parts (Bb picc trpt, 3 Bb trpts, 2 FH in F, 2 trbs, Euph, tuba). Additional players may be added for a pageant or festival setting. The piccolo Trumpet part does not include extreme upper register. This arrangement includes a part for three triangles which, while optional, adds a distinctive quality to the arrangement. Arrangement is written in C Major and C minor.

This arrangement for the brass quintet is a level level of 3.5 to 4 and has been created to share two of the most beautiful melodies of the Christmas Season, two different melodies sharing the same words and sentiment. This arrangement offers more modern harmonies and a diversion from the ordinary. It requires the French Horn player on a couple occasions to ascend to A and Bb above the staff. The tuba player must ascend to 4 space G several times and to fifth line A. Performance duration is about 3 minutes and 40 seconds.

“FIVE PROCESSIONALS� has been written for string quartet and/or string orchestra.  Included in this collection are five less familiar yet excellent processionals appropriate for school graduations and promotional activities, weddings, and other ceremonies requiring music of a more regal nature; and a change from the more commonly performed music heard at these occasions.  Each processional has convenient sections for repeats as needed.  A processional may be performed individually or inconjunctions with any of the other four.  Total performance of all five processionals with repeats is approximately fourteen minutes.
