The second of the two dance-movements in the Paranormania-Trio, that (in reference to the slavic myths of the Wila) depicts a group of ghostly figures gathering around a person and forcing them to dance and play themself into a breathless frenzy.Featuring an upbeat syncopated dance-rhythm and a constant switch between two different themes and tempos, this ghostly dance steadily increases its emotional intensity, so much so that the instrumentalists even get out of tune at one point. After a short planned tuning-break a sort of anti-climax is reached at the end, where all the building-up culminates in an almost sarcastic, morendo-like fadeout, marking the collapse of the poor soul that ultimately danced themself to death. VERSE is a G pentascale melody; CHORUS is G pentatonic stretching across a 10th, so hand movement is required (happens twice).   LH plays 2-3 note 7th chords and sometimes has a held whole note with two moving notes.  Rhythm is primarily 8th notes and quarter notes…most of the 16th syncopated/straight rhythm & 16th notes have been eliminated.   Late intermediate players will appreciate the development in the second verse/chorus.  The LH pattern changes to moving 8th notes in a Jim Brickman/Chopin-esque pattern regularly using 9ths & 10ths.  LH drops down an octave for the final chorus.  RH adds occasional alto note to the chorus melody line.
