Halloween is a 1978 American independent slasher film directed and scored by John Carpenter, co-written with producer Debra Hill, and starring Jamie Lee Curtis (in her film debut) and Donald Pleasence, with P. J. Soles and Nancy Kyes appearing in supporting roles. The plot centers around a mental patient, Michael Myers, who was committed to a sanitarium for murdering his babysitting teenage sister on Halloween night when he was six years old. Fifteen years later, he escapes and returns to his hometown, where he stalks a female babysitter and her friends, while under pursuit by his psychiatrist. Filming took place in Southern California in May 1978; the work premiered in October, whereupon it grossed $70 million, becoming one of the most profitable independent films of all time. Primarily praised for Carpenter's direction and score, many critics credit the film as the first in a long line of slasher films inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Bob Clark's Black Christmas (1974). It is considered one of the greatest and most influential horror films ever made. In 2006, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. Halloween spawned a film franchise comprising thirteen films which helped construct an extensive backstory for its antagonist Michael Myers, sometimes narratively diverging entirely from previous installments. A direct sequel of the film was released in 1981. A remake was released in 2007, which was followed by a sequel in 2009. An eleventh installment, which serves as a direct sequel to the original film that retcons all previous sequels, was released in 2018; this was followed by two direct sequels: Halloween Kills (2021) and the upcoming Halloween Ends (2022). Additionally, a novelization, a video game and comic book series have been based on the film.

Oh Wonder is the debut studio album by English alt-pop duo Oh Wonder, self-released on 4 September 2015. The album is the accumulation of singles released monthly throughout 2014–2015, in addition to two unreleased songs.
The song All We Do is featured in the opening credits of the ITV crime drama Unforgotten, at the end of the Miss Taken episode of the CBS drama Elementary, in an episode of ITV's Coronation Street, and in the 2015 MTV American slasher horror series Scream. Scream also featured the song Shark in season 1 episode 2, and Technicolor Beat in season 1 episode 5. The song Drive was used in the pilot episode of the 2015 BBC drama Doctor Foster. “White Blood was featured in season 3, episode 2 of The CW drama Reign. The first verse of the song Landslide was sampled in rapper Lil Uzi Vert's song The Way Life Goes from their album Luv Is Rage 2, as well as retaining some of the original vocals, so Oh Wonder are credited as featured artists on the song.
 
Unforgotten is a British crime drama television series, which initially aired on ITV on 8 October 2015. It was created and written by Chris Lang and directed by Andy Wilson. The programme follows a team of London detectives led by DCI Cassie Stuart (Nicola Walker) (Series 1–4), DCI Jess James (Sinéad Keenan) (Series 5) and DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar) as they solve cold cases of disappearance and murder. 
Each series consists of six episodes. Series 1 to 4 were broadcast in the UK in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2021. On 30 March 2021 a fifth series was announced, scheduled for release in 2023, and it was confirmed that Sanjeev Bhaskar would reprise his role. A year later it was confirmed that Sinéad Keenan would replace Walker as Bhaskar's new partner, DCI Jessica Jessie James. Filming for the fifth series began on 14 March 2022. The first episode of series 5 premiered on ITV in February 2023.
Each series deals with a new case, introducing seemingly unconnected characters who are gradually revealed to have some relationship with the victim. As the murder mystery unfolds, the emotional ramifications of the crime on the lives of those affected are also explored. 
Unforgotten has received critical acclaim. Tom Courtenay won the 2016 BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actor for the first series and Mark Bonnar won the 2017 BAFTA Scotland for Best Actor in Television for the second series.

Composer Notes

HiJinx! was commissioned by clarinetist Peter Wright in the spring of 2013. It is a mostly humorous piece aimed at entertaining the audience and the members of the orchestra. I also intended it to be a suitable companion to the Rossini Introduction, Theme and Variations, also featured on the Jacksonville Symphony's 2014-15 season opener. Keenly aware of Peter's fine soloistic abilities I approached organization of the work around quotations from well known clarinet solos. The work was composed between December and March with Peter's mischievous personality constantly in mind, thus the inclusion of random quotations from opera, chamber music and popular song.

NO ONE IS ALONE from the musical INTO THE WOODS by Stephen Sondheim. VOCAL SOLO (Soprano, Tenor or Baritone Voice - Alto or Bass could also sing the alternate lower notes) in Db Major with Piano, Bass, Drums and violin accompaniment.  This arrangement uses the Free Hersch piano solo version of NO ONE IS ALONE as the inspiration of this setting. It is a very ethereal and introspective version of the song that is perfect for a cabaret performance or even a recital. It begins with Piano only and drums playing textural slashes on the cymbals in the intro. The voice enters and the Bass joins in on the second phrase. It builds to a soaring bridge than eases up while a beautiful soaring violin joins in on the very last section of the song. Very emotional setting and will bring a tears to your eye. It is possible to just use the Piano part alone as accompaniment, but the full 4 pieces are recommended.

This arrangement of Steely Dan's “Third World Man� follows the key and form of the original track but brings in some additional horn lines not in the studio version to make for an exciting live performance! 


The lead sheet/rhythm chart displays the full vocal lead and lyrics, along with chords and cues for the rest of the rhythm section with chords and slashes only through the guitar solo section. The horn charts are of moderate range or difficulty with only a short technical passage in the coda ascending to a written high “C� in the trumpet part. 


While written for a band with 4 horns, the Baritone Sax part may be omitted and things will still work out as a 3-horn chart. This arrangement has been prepared in the original key of F minor, as recorded.
