This is an intermediate level piece that is perfect for middle school, junior high school or high school percussionists that have been playing mallets for a while. Both marimba parts can be played on the same 4 octave marimba. The xylophone part, while intended to be played on a xylophone, may also be played on a second marimba, played one octave higher. The marimba 2 part is written in the bass clef and an optional treble clef version is also included for groups that do not have a percussionist comfortable reading bass clef. This is a fun and challenging piece that students enjoy playing and will certainly be entertaining to the audience.
