Turning water into wine was a gift displayed
By our Savior long ago . . . a miracle portrayed.
Though His day had not yet come to unveil full pow’r,
His disciples watched as He altered time that hour.

Quenching thirst in Cana then, at a marriage feast,
Was the first beginning of Christ’s strength which never ceased.
Showing His true majesty turned trial into gain,
Just as He remakes, for us, good instead of pain.

He can change our challenges, ev’ry labored day,
To a blessing for great yield exhibiting His ways.
Saving wine in Galilee, to prevent parched thirst,
Is our sacramental cup as we seek God first.

His atoning crimson blood is His pow’r to heal.
This partaking symbol shows true love which Jesus seals.
We will never thirst because water changed to wine;
Jesus showed us miracles lasting through all time.

A Groovy Kind of Love is a song written by Toni Wine and Carole Bayer Sager based on a melody by the classical composer Muzio Clementi.  The song was recorded to great success by The Mindbenders and Phil Collins.

The title was an early use of the slang word groovy, and both women were interested in using the word because they recognized it as new and happening. Wine said, Carole came up with 'Groovy kinda… groovy kinda… groovy…' and we're all just saying, 'Kinda groovy, kinda groovy, kinda…' 

The Mindbenders version entered the Record Retailer chart on January 19, 1966, at number 34 before peaking at number two on March 16.  It was kept from the number one spot by These Boots Are Made for Walkin' by Nancy Sinatra.   It exited the chart on April 20 at a position of 37 after spending 14 weeks on the chart.

The word groove originated in the jazz culture of the 1920s.  Starting in the mid-1940s, song titles began using variations of this word.
Firmly based on the Rondo from Sonatina Op. 36, No.5 by Muzio Clementi, Toni Wine and Carole Bayer-Sager wrote this song in under 30 minutes.  It was released in England in 1965, where it became a huge hit, and was released in America a year later, also to great success.
This arrangement for Brass Quintet with an optional Drum kit is great for Valentine's Day, weddings, and anniversaries.  
The parts are for British Brass Band instruments with orchestral brass alternate parts.
