Cello Duet Cello - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1096564 Composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Arranged by Michele Galvagno & Yuriy Leonovich. Baroque,Chamber,Children,Early Music,Instructional. Score. 130 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #700548. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1096564). Antonio Vivaldi’s Cello Sonatas occupy a special place in every cellist’ heart and they deserve the best possible treatment in every respect. Throughout the centuries many editions have been published of these works, so adding a new one to the mix may seem superfluous, unless it offers something unique. This Critical Performance Edition closely follows the three manuscripts that history allowed to survive until today, and yet gives the player the possibility to choose between the different sources in a way not possible before. It comes in several versions: a) an unmarked score and parts bundle (130 pp.) b) a stylistically accurate keyboard realisation of the continuo line, alongside an annotated cello part by Yuriy Leonovich (117 pp.) c) combination of a) and b) d) a score containing the alternative sources (22 pp.) available offered alongside version c) or separately if you just want to compare it with other editions you already have. They all come in press quality PDF with interactive table of contents to allow you a seamless navigation through its pages. It is a truly unique edition and I am sure you will love it. Only version a) is available here, the others are available here: https://artisticscoreng.gumroad.com/l/yislkn Subscribe to my mailing list for gifts and news: https://bit.ly/3ujFa4j.

Cello Duet Cello - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.591444 Composed by David McKeown. Blues,Easter,Pop,R & B,Rock. Score. 3 pages. David McKeown #6293941. Published by David McKeown (A0.591444). The Easter Egg Rock is a fun and original duet written by David McKeown for two Cellos. The Easter Egg Rock is one in a series of ten Easter-themed duets each written in a different American dance style. Modern Rock music has its origins in Rock’n’Roll, with the first use of the word in 1951 by an Ohio DJ.  The first big hit was Bill Haley’s Rock Around the Clockin 1955, but other artists such as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent and Little Richard all have strong claims to being the first Rock’n’Roll artist. The Easter Egg Rock is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above, with the accessible key and range balanced by the fast tempo and syncopated rhythms and accidentals. With a playing-time of around one and a half minutes, The Easter Egg Rock is a perfect upbeat addition to any performance program, formal or informal. Cellos - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841373 Composed by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer. Arranged by Artistic Score Engraving by Michele Galvagno. Instructional,Romantic Period. Educational Exercises. 72 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #6719777. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841373). The Twelve Different Pieces for Two Cellos, dedicated to beginners, op. 58, by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer, are a beautiful collection of short duets, perfectly suited to be used both in the classroom and in the concert hall. While the first cello is clearly written to play the role of the protagonist, the second cello is not relegated to a mere accompaniment seat. As usual with Dotzauer, something that may have contributed to these gems remaining unearthed until now, these pieces do not follow a growing order of difficulty. They are more or less equivalent in requiring up to the fourth position and not too many double stops, with some interesting bowing patterns here and there. Many forms are covered (there is even a fugue!), and none of them is in a slow tempo.  This edition is made up of a 72-page book, in both PDF and EPUB form, enriched with interactive elements that make navigation a breeze. Additional PDF files for the score and the two cello parts are also included. It is an Urtext edition, in that it fully respects the composer's original text. Any correction to clear mistakes and/or editorial addition will be enclosed in square brackets. I hope you will enjoy every note of it!

Educational Exercises. 74 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #690706. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1086500). Project Dotzauer continues with its 3rd instalment—and 10th edition of 2022—, the Twelve Original Pieces for Two Cellos, Op. 52. Cellos - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1125668 Composed by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,Children,Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period. Educational Exercises. 66 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #726403. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1125668). The Twelve Original Pieces for Two Cellos, dedicated to beginners, Op. 63, by J. J. F. Dotzauer (1783—1860) is a most colourful collection, containing a spicy mix of arias from famous operas, original themes, and fugues. The arias are mostly from W. A. Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito, and G. Rossini’s Tancredi, with a theme and variation from The Magic Flute crowning them all. Even without employing the thumb, these pieces are challenging, and should not be underestimated. They explore all seven positions, making this the most well-rounded collection of the five (Opp. 52, 58, 156, 159), and a must-have for all cello students. This edition comes in two versions, Original & Collectors’ Edition. The Original version is available in either of the following variants: score only, parts only, and score & parts. It is based on the first edition published by Dotzauer at Breitkopf & Härtel in 1823. The Collector’s Edition adds the new edition of these pieces appeared in the 57 Little Duets compiled by Johannes Klingenberg (1852—1905), and in the early XX century edition by Alwin Schöder (1855—1928). Cello Duet Cello - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841372 Composed by David Popper. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 10 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #6707623. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841372). The Three Pieces, Op. 64, by bohemian cellist David Popper (1843-1913), for cello and piano, are among the most appreciated by young cellists, given their relative simplicity. They are made up of a song remembering the old days (No. 1), a tarantella (No. 2), and a lullaby (No. 3).  Following the successful performance of my arrangement for two cellos realised for a student of mine in 2021 of No. 1, I have now resolved to sharing this with the world.  Arranging piano parts for a single instrument is always going to be a compromise, but Popper’s use of the piano in short pieces is usually light enough to make the result convincing.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed arranging and performing it. This edition is made up of a single document [10pp.] containing both the score and the two cello parts. The solo cello part contains fingering and bowing suggestions by the composer, while the second cello contains my own suggestions.

Cello Duet Cello - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841353 Composed by Jean-Baptiste Breval. Arranged by Yuriy Leonovich, Michele Galvagno. Classical,Instructional,Standards. Score. 18 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #5884789. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841353). Sailing away from C major, Breval brings us now to it's dominant, with a luminous and open first movement. Very interesting comes Breval's choice of having all first movement in cut-C time. Also, this is one of the few sonatas of this collection where the first movement is more musically attractive than the second one.Technically, the young cellist starts working with sixth intervals and with short and fast trills. Fast 16th-note runs make the Rondo a very appealing exercise.

Cello Duet Cello - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841354 Composed by Jean-Baptiste Breval. Arranged by Yuriy Leonovich, Michele Galvagno. Classical,Instructional,Standards. Score. 18 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #5888091. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841354). We come to the end of this first part of the journey into Breval's cello sonatas by proposing the fourth one, in B-flat major. It is very interesting to see how all these six sonatas are firmly rooted in major keys, with fleeting passages to minor relatives, rigorously during the second movements. This Sonata has the longest first movement by far, and also a second movement that sails away from the Rondo form, proposing an Aria (Andantino) with two variations. Technically it is quite demanding, possibly the capstone of the sextuplet, coupling a richness in embellishments with long passages in the extended position.

Cellos - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1109067 Composed by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,Chamber,Children,Instructional,Romantic Period. Educational Exercises. 64 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #711611. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1109067). The Twelve Pieces for Two Cellos, containing National Songs & Fugues, Op. 156 by J. J. F. Dotzauer (1783—1860) are possibly the most enjoyable duet collection of the five. Six pieces are fugues, and six are national airs, masterfully arranged for two cellos. Among them we even find the French national anthem, labelled “La Marseillaise ou la Caramagnoleâ€, whose story I had a lot of fun unearthing. All duets are written in bass clef, even if one of them goes up to the sixth position. They are perfect for student concerts or just for learning a few beautiful popular songs, all while travelling the world. From Ireland to Boemia, from France to Scotland, it will be an unforgettable journey! This edition is offered in two versions, Original & Collector’s Edition. The Original version is available in either of the following variants: score only, parts only, and score & parts. It is based on the first edition published by Dotzauer at Breitkopf & Härtel in 1839. The Collector’s Edition adds the new edition of these pieces appeared in the 1890s under the revision of Carl Hüllweck (1852—1910), as well as the first duet as it appears in the 57 Little Duets compiled by Johannes Klingenberg (1852—1905). Cellos - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1042144 Composed by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer. Arranged by Carl Hüllweck. Children,Classical,Instructional,Romantic Period. Educational Exercises. 112 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #646942. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1042144). The Twenty-four Exercises for Two Cellos, Op. 159, by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer, continue and conclude the series dedicated to the neck positions. These, alongside the just published Twelve Original Pieces, Op. 58, cover the first four positions in all possible variations, using an incredible richness of forms, melody, harmony, and rhythm. After these thirty-six little gems, your students will be able to face much greater challenges with renewed strength and assertiveness. While Op. 58 focused mostly on Theme with Variations, Op. 159’s most used form is the rounded binary one, while no less than three full-fledged fugues enrich the practicing landscape. Due to the lack of the original manuscript, lost during Steiner & Bell’s acquisition of Augener & Co., this edition is based on two surviving editions, by Carl Hüllweck and Johannes Klingenberg, both published in the first decade of the XX century, about 40 years after Dotzauer’s passing. To provide you with the greatest flexibility and choice possibilities, this edition comes in several versions (only C available here, others available on Gumroad): - A: a score only one, based on Hüllweck; - B: two separate sets of parts, one per editor; - C: a score & parts bundle, based once more on Hüllweck; - D: finally, a Collector’s Edition, containing all this, plus a long chapter comparing all differences between Hüllweck’s and Klingenberg’s versions, and an interactive PDF where, at the press of a button, you will be able to switch to the other version of the current part! All PDFs have been optimised to be of the highest Press Quality and lightweight. I truly hope you are going to enjoy this beautiful music and that your cello playing will reach new heights thanks to it!

Cello Duet Cello - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1074277 Composed by Carlo Alfredo Piatti. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. Classical,Holiday,Instructional,Praise & Worship,Romantic Period. Score. 12 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #678570. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1074277). The Elegy on the death of Anton Rubinstein, for two cellos, written by Carlo Alfredo Piatti (1822—1901) is a poignant expression of the pain the composer must have felt at the news of his friend’s death, in the first days of November, 1894. The piece begins with an almost sentence-like cadence, in C minor, with the first cello sounding the church’s bells, and the second cello answering with chest-tearing cries of pain. The true elegy start on a Dactyl rhythm and develops into four increasingly tense episodes before seeing the return of the opening melody. But not all is bleak: a shift to C major brings us into the heavens now enriched by the music and pure soul of our friend, and while the end is once more in C minor, we know inside us that he will always be with us. This publication is the second one celebrating the 200th anniversary of Piatti’s birth, and comes in a single file containing both parts and score.
