Introduce your students to the great hymns. This collection is designed for students working in Suzuki Books 1 and 2. It is published for two violins, two violas, and two cellos, all in the key of D major, allowing for any combination of instrumentation. All parts can be played in first position. Accompaniment part is designed to add additional character to the hymn, and is slightly more difficult than the melody part. While the melodies may be familiar to many students, the history, writers, and composers may not be as well known. A brief discussion of each hymn, along with the text, is provided before the music. Students will enjoy these hymns and instructors will find this book to be a useful supplement to their repertoire.

2018 Holiday Contest Entry
The famous Traditional English Carol is here arranged for two Early Intermediate level Violoncellos. At a little over a minute in duration, this carol will make an impressive contribution to a holiday recital or social event. Naturally, it's ideal for any and all church functions during which younger or less-experienced players may participate. Fashioned after the early intermediate level character pieces found the famous Anna Magdalena Bach books, the melody is accompanied by an original counterpoint. The repetition (second verse) of the carol allows each instrument to play the counterpoint.
