By Elvis Presley. By Billy Hayes and Jay Johnson. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Christmas,Holiday,Pop,Rock. Score. 5 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #4269877. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526057).
Originally written by Billy Hayes and Jay Johnson, Blue Christmas was famously recorded by Elvis Presley in 1957 and became an instant rock-and-roll holiday classic! This arrangement for cello duet is fun to listen to and easy to play - there is nothing written above first position, and the rhythms are basic other than a handful of syncopations and some triplets. Easily sightreadable by professionals and advanced students, and playable for early intermediate students as well! A great Christmas staple to add to your binders when your cello duo books some holiday parties, or just a fun song to play with a cello buddy when you're feeling festive :)
