We asked Ayumi to write a suite of pieces following a favorite fairy tale called The Light Princess by 19th Century author George MacDonald (mentor and role model to such greats as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien). One of our goals as a duo is to begin playing more children's concerts, and we thought this piece would be a great addition to a program for the childlike.
