This duet, which was written for my father, is ideal for a variety of venues, including church services, memorials, general performances, and encores.  Turn it into a cello solo by playing the melody throughout. 

The sequence for the turn in Measures 6 and 17 is D-Eb-D (as heard in the video).  While the audio provides an idea of tempo and dynamics, the video offers a better sense of how the two parts fit together.

This is an instrumental version of an original Christmas/Children's song, Waiting for Santa. It may also be played as a cello solo - Part 1 has the melody throughout.  Use the dynamics to make it sing.  A ritardando may be added from Measures 47 to 51.  Feel free to adjust the tempo to suit the event or skill level.  The attached audio and video provide a better idea of tempo and dynamics.  Ideal for general performance, recitals, get-togethers, and holiday events.  I hope you enjoy!!!

This classic tune offers just enough variety to make it enjoyable for both cellists.  The high A can be played as a harmonic.  Add more space between the notes from Measures 1 through 9, and then play the remaining measures more legato.  If you prefer not to play and many more at the end, finish on the first note of Measure 24.  The double stop in the last measure is optional:  you can simply play an A.
