Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.782350 Composed by Edvard Grieg. Arranged by James Haynor. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 42 pages. James Haynor #5775739. Published by James Haynor (A0.782350). Norway's most famous composer, Edvard Grieg was one of the late Romantics whose music was infused with the folk tradition of his homeland. Peer Gynt, incidental music by Grieg, was written to accompany the verse drama of the same name by Norwegian writer Henrik Ibsen. The music debuted to great acclaim in 1876 when the play was first produced for the stage, and it remains among the most popular of Grieg’s compositions. Scored here for brass quintet, the piece should be considered advanced in nature but the reward is worth the effort. ( Duration 12:20 )
