The official anthem of the Canary Islands, arranged for Brass Quintet & Percussion.A region of Spain, the anthem used in the Canaries for official local occasions was introduced on May 30 (Canary Islands Day), 2003. It is an adaptation of a local folk song called Arrorró (Lullaby).Before the official announcement of the anthem unofficial local songs were in place, and tended to differ depending on the person’s political beliefs.
