Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the English rock band The Beatles.
Released on 26 May 1967, it spent 27 weeks at number one on the Record Retailer chart in the United Kingdom and 15 weeks at number one on the Billboard Top LPs chart in the United States.

It was lauded by critics for its innovations in songwriting, production and graphic design, for bridging a cultural divide between popular music and high art, and for reflecting the interests of contemporary youth and the counterculture.
Its release was a defining moment in 1960s pop culture, heralding the Summer of Love, while the album's reception achieved full cultural legitimisation for pop music and recognition for the medium as a genuine art form.

This is my arrangement of the opening number.

I have transposed from the original key of G to Eb to aid the brass players.

I have created a new ending for those brass quintets who wish to play the piece on it;s own, but also included the oruginal fade away ending which seques into the next track...with a little help from my friends.

It is the fifth track of their third UK album A Hard Day's Night and was released 20 July 1964, along with If I Fell, as a single release by Capitol Records in the United States, reaching No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Beatles performed And I Love Her just once outside EMI Studios; on 14 July 1964 they played it for an edition of the BBC's Top Gear radio show, which was broadcast two days later.

And I Love Her has been covered by a variety of artists, including Esther Phillips, Kurt Cobain and Cliff Richard.

The melody in both the verse and the chorus is shared amongst the 3 top instruments.

Being for the Benefit of Mr.Kite arranged brass quintet

Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! is a song recorded by the English rock band the Beatles for their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was written and composed primarily by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney.

Most of the lyrics came from a 19th-century circus poster for Pablo Fanque's Circus Royal appearance at Rochdale.

One of the most musically complex songs on Sgt. Pepper, it was recorded by the Beatles on 17 February 1967 with overdubs on 20 February (organ sound effects), 28 March (harmonica, organ, guitar), 29 March (more organ effects) and 31 March.
John Lennon wanted the track to have a carnival atmosphere, and told producer George Martin that he wanted to smell the sawdust on the floor. In the middle eight bars, multiple recordings of fairground organs and calliope music were spliced together to attempt to satisfy this request.

i have attempted to vary the sound with the use of muted trumpets.
The 1st and last verses are given to trumpet 1, and verse 2 taken by the trombone.

Arranged standard brass quintet When I'm Sixty-Four is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and released on their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was one of the first songs written by McCartney, who wrote it when he was 14. The song was recorded in a different key than the final recording; it was sped up at the request of McCartney to make his voice sound younger. It prominently features a trio of clarinets (two regular clarinets and one bass clarinet) throughout.

Expertly arranged for brass quintet, this work, based on the well-known hymn, ST. FLAVIAN, captures the somber mood of the forty-day journey through the Lenten season. Following the opening march-like fanfare, the familiar melody enters in the 1st trumpet above the drone of the trombone and tuba. Then the tuba takes the melody, transposing it to G Dorian, then, briefly to A Mixolydian. At the key change, the melody returns to its original form, now taken up by the French horn. The opening fanfare returns in an abbreviated form in the coda as the piece ends quietly on a D6/9 chord.

This 1967 Beatles hit carries the familiar Lennon/McCartney credit line, but it was Paul all the way. He wrote it years before there were Beatles; it may have been his first composition, from around 1956. It was on the Beatles' early set lists for emergency use (like if the power went out) but became at serious hit after it appeared on the Sgt. Pepper album.
