Fred Rogers and jazz pianist John Costas teamed up to write a number of classic songs for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Rogers wrote the lyrics and melodies and Costas wrote amazing accompaniments with lush yet subtle jazz harmonizations for them.   It's You I Like is a heartfelt song aimed at children, but the Costas arrangement and Rogers' somewhat generic lyrics turned this into a work that could as easily be interpreted as a torch song.   Melodic responsibilities are shared between both trumpets and the French horn.
