Although the music is heavily influenced by the great Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff shows that he is quite capable of walking in his own shoes.The dramatic music Two Dances has been beautifully arranged by Charles Decker for traditional Brass Quintet (Trumpet I in B-flat/Piccolo Trumpet, Trumpet II in B-flat, Horn, Trombone and Tuba.)
